Seven killed in bus-auto clash

Sun News Desk : At least 7 people have been killed as a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Mymensingh on Friday.

Among the deceased, three were identified as Bablu Ahmed, 45, a resident of Rambhadrapur's Ashabat village in Fulpur upazila, his wife Shila Akter, 35, and their son Md Sadman, 7 and the auto-rickshaw driver Alamin Hossain, 25.

Harunur Rashid, Sadar Police Station sub-inspector, said a bus of Sherpur-bound 'Adil Paribahan' from Dhaka hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Alalpur area around 11 am, leaving seven, including the driver of the latter vehicle, dead on the spot.

Anwar Hossain, The Police Station officer in-charge (investigation), said the bus and the auto-rickshaw were seized.
