District Representative: The sound of gunfire is heard again from 7:30 in the morning from across the Nafna River in Hoikung Union of Teknaf Upazila.

No gunfire was heard across Teknaf border throughout the day from 11 am on Saturday (February 10), but gunfire was heard from the area from dawn till morning.
Locals of Unchiprang border claim that the attack is being carried out by the Arakan Army and other rebels to capture the Myanmar town of Balibazar and Kumirkhali base in Teknaf area. Rebels are not able to take control of Kumirkhali Ghat easily.

Noor Ahmad Anwari, Chairman of Hoikang Union Parishad of Teknaf, said that since 7 am on Sunday (February 11), loud sounds of gunshots and mortar shell explosions have been heard on the other side of the Naf River on the border of Lambabil, Unchiprang, Kanjor Para. This clash is to take control of Kumirkhali and Balibazar bases in Myanmar across the border. Across the border, a few bullets have landed in Lomabil and Unchiprang areas. Those living near the border have been asked to evacuate.
