Metrorail to run every 8 minutes

Correspondent: Considering the demand of passengers, the travel time of Metrorail has been reduced from 10 minutes to 8 minutes.

He said this at a press conference organized at Pravasi Kalyan Bhawan on Thursday (February 15) afternoon. The managing director said that currently 2 lakh 70 thousand passengers are moving daily.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited Managing Director (MD) MN Chiddik said that it will be effective from Saturday (February 17).

On the other hand, train movement was disrupted on Thursday morning due to a fault in the 'signal system'. This problem occurred after 4 trips after the start of train movement in the morning. However, due to this problem, the train movement was not suspended, the journey was delayed.
