President mourns Atiqullah Khan's death

Staff-Reporter: President. Abdul Hamid today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of the veteran journalist and editor of The Daily Janakantha Atiqullah Khan Masud. Atiqullah Khan Masud passed away on his way to the hospital in the capital on Monday (March 22nd) at around 5:30 am. He has been suffering from respiratory issues.

According to the Bangabhaban Press Wing, in a condolence message, President Abdul Hamid prayed for the for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolences to his bereaved family.

Mohammad Atiqullah Khan Masud was 71. He is survived by his wife and two sons and grandchildren.
