Sun News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka for London and New York to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Prime Minister and her entourage departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a VVIP chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Dhaka at 10:40am on Thursday.
Earlier the Minister of Foreign Affairs, AK Abdul Momen, On Wednesday gave details about the Prime Minister's visit at a press conference.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to UK, Sadia Muna Tasnim, will receive the Prime Minister in London.

On Friday September 16, Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland will pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister in London and the UK Minister for South Asia, North Africa, United Nations and Commonwealth Affairs Lord Ahmed will also meet with the Prime Minister.
Sir Keir Starmer, leader of the UK opposition and Labor Party, is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister on Saturday September 17.

The Prime Minister will attend a reception for the King in honor of heads of state and government at Buckingham Palace on Sunday September 18.
On Monday September 19, prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey.
Later, the Prime Minister will leave London for New York on a special Bangladesh Biman flight the same evening.

The Prime Minister will be received by the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the country Muhammad Imran and the Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations Muhammad Abdul Muhith at the JFK International Airport
Then on Tuesday September 20, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the reception of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. He will also participate in the opening ceremony of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
