One killed in cylinder blast

Sun News Desk: A person was killed after the gas cylinder of truck exploded in the capital's Mugda area on Tuesday.

Another person was also injured in the incident.

Deceased were identified as Saddam, 25, was standing near the truck when the incident happened.

Md Mubaidul Islam, Mugda Police Station, said the truck was refilling gas at Best Eastern CNG Filling Station around 5am. Suddenly, the gas cylinder exploded with a big bang, leaving Saddam dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
