Two more stations open

Sun News Desk : Two more metro rail stations at Kazipara and Mirpur-11 has been opened for public from Wednesday morning.

These are the sixth and seventh stations of the metro rail. Now, the train can pick up and drop off passengers at the two stations.

Mahfujur Rahman, Manager of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), said two stations were opened today. Two more stations will also be opened this month. The metro rail will run in full-swing from this year’s July.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on December 28, 2022, inaugurated the country's first-ever metro rail and it was opened to the public the following day.
