Sun News Desk : At least 55 leaders and activists of opposition BNP were detained while they were holding a meeting at Banani Club in the capital.

According to Banani Police Station OC Mostafizur Rahman, getting an information, police raided the club at 1am on Monday while 55 BNP men from different districts of the country were holding a clandestine meeting there.
They were detained on charge of holding an anti-government meeting, The OC added.

The detained BNP men were, later, taken to DB office.
Process to file a case is underway, OC Mostafizur Rahman said.
