Sun News Desk : One dengue patient died and 36 hospitalized in a hospital in Dhaka in the last 24 across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Friday.
With the new deaths, the total number of deaths in dengue rose to 156, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

At least 896 dengue patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till this morning, of which 493 were outside Dhaka.
Some 6,076 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 2,516 are from outside Dhaka.

A total of 22,211 dengue patients were released from hospitals, of which 7,855 were from outside Dhaka.
