The party can hold the rally from 12 pm to 4 pm on the day, DMP said in a statement on Tuesday.
In a letter signed by DMP Deputy Commissioner of Police Abdul Momen on Tuesday afternoon, BNP was informed about the permission for the assembly under 26 conditions.

The DMP mentioned that police permission, however, does not mean venue use approval. BNP will have to avail permission for the ground from appropriate authorities. Police's other conditions include limiting activities within the venue, deploying adequate volunteers during the rally, installing closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras at the venue, installing metal detectors for checking the delegates and following Covid safety guidelines while holding the rally.
However, BNP is adamant to hold a mass meeting in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan. They also applied to the DMP on November 20 for that rally.
