Bangladesh police will be ‘smart’

Sun News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday said we have undertaken the action plan to make Smart Bangladesh. The police will also be smart and modern. Police services have reached people's doorsteps through various apps. Future services will be simpler and smarter.

The prime minister said this while inaugurating the Police Week-2023 at the capital's Rajarbagh Police Lines.

She said our police force is serving as people's police. Gaining public trust is important for any force. You have earned that trust. You will serve the people from a humanitarian point of view.

Sheikh Hasinasaid that the police force, especially the women police, is getting praise for maintaining peace. That is why their acceptance by the people is increasing. We congratulate them.

She urged all to ensure that no one can put any obstacle in the country's march towards development and prosperity.

She said whenever the country goes a little better, conspiracies start. Bangladesh has been built by the blood of millions of martyrs. It can never fail.

The National Anthem was played at the beginning of the program. The Prime Minister then rode in an open jeep to inspect and salute the police parade. Various police teams put up a colorful parade. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wore the badges of police officers who received medals in Police Lines.
