Sun News Desk: The government has decided to cancel the system of holding Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations from this year.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has approved the decision.
The Ministry of Education passed this directive on Monday.

JSC and JDC examinations were also not mentioned in the newly introduced national curriculum.
According to the press release, “As the system of holding JSC and JDC public examinations were not kept in the national curriculum 2021, the matter of discontinuing the JSC and JDC examinations in 2022, 2023 and after these years could be considered.”
