Sun News Desk : At least 4 dengue patients died and 1,534 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Friday.
Dengue has so far claimed at least 597 lives this year and nearly 1,25,342 were infected, making this the deadliest year since the first recorded epidemic in 2000.

According to DGHS data, 8,348 dengue patients were undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
A total of 1,16,397 patients have so far been released from hospitals across the country this year.
