Sun News Desk : ‍At least 10 dengue patients died and 1,984 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Tuesday.

With the latest death, a total of 426 people died of dengue to date this year.

Currently, 9,117 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 4,010 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 5,107 are in other divisions.

As many as 89,875 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
