However, Bangladesh Railway is not raising fares for passenger and freight trains at the moment. For now, Bangladesh Railway is not taking any decision to increase the fare.

The minister told reporters at the capital's Kamalapur railway station on Saturday (November 13) morning.

The Railway Minister said, 'Those who are against independence, who do not want Bangladesh, have attacked the Brahmanbaria station. Legal action has been taken against them. The process is ongoing.
