District correspondent : A minor child died from electrocution in Shariatpur on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Sumaia, 4, daughter of Manik Kaji, hailed from Kaji Kandi area under Binodpur union.
Locals said that the child came in contact with an electric wire while she was walking in her room, leaving her injured. Family members rescued her and took to hospital where she was declared dead.
