Sun News Desk : At least 13 dengue patients died and 1,135 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

Currently, 8,617 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 2,638 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 5,979 are in other divisions.

As many as 2,33,531 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 2,23,779 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
