9 killed in Israeli attack on Lebanon

International Desk : At least 9 people were killed in Israeli attack on Lebanon on Wednesday, reports Reuters.

Nine civilians, including four children, were killed in Israeli attacks on villages of southern Lebanon on Wednesday, according to the director of a hospital in the region and three Lebanese security sources.

Israel says that they carried out this attack in response to Hezbollah's rocket attack. An Israeli soldier was killed in an attack by a powerful Iranian-backed armed group in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces started invading Gaza from 7 October 2023. More than 28,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of the 4 month-long campaign. In addition, about 67,000 others were injured.

A woman and her two children were killed in Israeli attack on the village of al-Sawana on Wednesday, two security sources said.

According to Hassan Wazni, director of the city's hospital, and 3 other sources, another two children, three women and a man were killed in the attack on a building in Nabatih.

He also said that seven more people went to the hospital for treatment after the Israeli attack. Four Hezbollah fighters were also killed in separate attacks, the group and security sources said.
