28,000 Killed by Israel in Gaza

International Desk: The death toll in the Israeli attack on Gaza, which is besieged by Palestine, has exceeded 28,000.

Anadolu news agency reported this information in a report on Sunday (February 11).

According to the report, at least 117 Palestinians were killed in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Health of the region said on Saturday that the death toll in the Israeli attack on the blockaded territory has exceeded 28,000.

The ministry said in a statement, "The Israeli occupation forces have carried out 16 massacres against various families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 117 martyrs and 152 injuries in the last 24 hours." Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the streets. Rescuers are unable to reach them.'

Incidentally, since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack.

After a week-long humanitarian truce with Hamas, Israel resumed air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip in early December. The occupation forces intensified the attack on Gaza in this operation that started after a pause.
