As the Covid-19 crisis continues to increase in the country, 76 more deaths have been reported as of late.
At the same time, 4 thousand and eight-forty-six people have been reported to be infected, leaving the total death toll caused by the virus to stand at 8 lakhs 61 thousand and one-fifty.
The Department of Health has provided these statistics in a press release on the afternoon of Tuesday June 22 .
The number of samples tested in the last 24 hours before the press release were 25 thousand and twenty-eight.
According to John Hopkins University in the United States, the total number of Covid-19 related deaths worldwide now stands at 38 lakhs 72 thousand and eighty-eight, with a total of 17 crores 87 lakhs 30 thousand and five-fifty-one.
