Staff Correspondent: Strict restrictions on the prevention of the deadly coronavirus infection have been extended until August 10.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque told reporters at the secretariat after a virtual inter-ministerial meeting on Tuesday (August 3rd).
He said anyone who moves without a vaccine after August 11 will face punishment even if the law is not passed ordinance will be issued and power to punish will be given even. Vaccines will be given in 14,000 centers in the country.
To curb the spread of Covid-19, the government imposed strict restrictions for 14 days from 8 am on July 23 to midnight on August 5. It was further extended on Tuesday while the restrictions were ongoing.
