Sun News Desk : Four people have been killed and four others injured when a truck collided with an ambulance in Gopalganj on Thursday.

Identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Md Jabed Masud, Officer-in-charge of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station, confirmed the matter.

He said the ambulance was on its way to Dhaka from Khulna when it collided head-on with the truck laden with an excavator coming from opposite direction.
The OC also said that being informed, police and fire service rushed to the spot and recovered eight injured people. Of the injured, one died on the way to Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital while three others died after reaching there.
