4 killed as bus hits CNG


Sun News Desk: At least 4 passengers were killed and 3 more were injured as a bus hits a CNG-run auto rickshaw at Chandina upazila in Cumilla on Monday noon.

The deceased are- Tanni Akhter, 20, daughter of Khokon Mia of Nawtala area of ​​Chandina upazila, her infant daughter Muntaha, 2, auto driver Habibur Rahman, 41, of Chhotana village of Debidwar upazila and Rezia Begum, 32, of Bagmara village of the same upazila.

After the incident, three people named Siam, Razia and Zahid were sent from Kabila Eastern Medical College Hospital to Comilla Medical College Hospital. The condition of one of them is critical.

Akul Chandra Biswas, Mainamati Highway Police Station OC, said that two women were killed on the spot. A girl child and auto driver died at Eastern Medical College Hospital. One is in critical condition. Police are trying to arrest the killer.
