Sun News Desk: Police today have arrested the driver and helper of Victor Classic Paribahan over the bus accident death of a Northern University student in the capital.

The arrestees are- driver Md Liton, 38, and his assistant Abul Khayer, 22.
The victim, Nadia, 22, was a first semester student at the pharmacy department of Northern University.

Earlier, Nadia's father Jahangir Alam filed a case against the unidentified bus driver and helper at Bhatara police station on Sunday night.
Abdul Ahad, deputy commissioner of Gulshan Division Police, said the driver and helper of Victor Paribahan, who hit Nadia and her friend, have been arrested. The bus has been seized in this incident.

Nadia was the pillion rider on her friend's motorcycle which was hit by Victor Paribahan near Jamuna Future Park around 12:45pm yesterday. Nadia admitted to Northern University just two weeks ago.
