Four killed in two truck clash

Sun News Desk : Four people have been killed after a running truck hit a standing one in Bogura's Adamdighi upazila on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as truck owner Mostak, 45, truck driver Dadon Miah, 40, his assistant Saiful Islam, 23; and Rakibul Islam, 40.

The accident happened at about 3:30am in Muril Bus Syand area when Mostak Ali and Dadon Miah was repairing their truck. A Naogan-bound goods-laden truck hit the standing one from behind, leaving the duo dead on the spot and two others critically injured.

Rezaul Karim, Adamdighi Police Station OC, ‍said they were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College where the injured succumbed to their injuries.
