17 deaths in 24 hours in Corona, 156 identified

Staff Reporter: 18 people have died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus. Among them 15 are males and 3 are females. All of them died at the hospital. The death toll from the virus rose to 5,941.

In the last 24 hours, 12,620 samples were collected and 12,549 samples were tested in 113 laboratories to detect coronavirus. At the same time, another 1,057 new cases of coronavirus have been identified. As a result, the total number of identified patients in the country stood at 4 lakh 9 thousand 252 people. So far, the total number of sample tests is 23 lakh 47 thousand 611.

On Sunday (November 1) at noon, the Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Prof. This information was given in a press release signed by Nasima Sultana.

In the last 24 hours, 1,795 people have recovered. With this, the total number of healthy people stood at 3 lakh 25 thousand 940 people.

Compared to the sample test in 24 hours, the patient identification rate is 12.50 percent and so far the patient identification rate is 16.42 percent compared to the sample test. The recovery rate was 69.64 percent and the mortality rate was 1.45 percent.

Of the total deaths in Corona so far, 4,513 are males (8.1 percent) and 1,346 are females (22.99 percent). Of the total 5,941 deaths in Corona, 4,056 were men and 1,038 were women.

According to the age-based analysis, in the last 24 hours, out of 17 people who died in Corona, one was in his twenties, two in his thirties, six in his fifties and nine in his sixties. According to the department, out of 18 people killed in Corona in the last 24 hours, 14 died in Dhaka division, 3 in Chittagong division and one in Sylhet division.
