Staff Reporter: In the last 24 hours, 19 more people have died due to coronavirus. The total death toll stood at 5,905. Besides, corona has been newly identified in the bodies of 1,604 people. As a result, the total number of victims has reached 4 lakh 6 thousand 374 people.

This information has been given in the regular health press release regarding Corona sent from the Department of Health on Friday (October 30).

According to the notification, 14,331 samples have been collected and 14,141 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours in 112 government and private labs of the country for corona identification. A total of 23 lakh 24 thousand 630 samples were tested. Considering the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate is 11.34 percent. And in the total test so far 16.46 percent have been identified.

Of the 19 new victims, 12 were men and seven were women. Of the total deaths so far, 4,541 are males or 8.91 per cent males and 1,384 or 23.09 per cent females. The identified mortality rate is 1.45 percent.

Meanwhile, another 1,422 people have recovered from Corona. With this, the total number of healthy people in the country stands at 3 lakh 22 thousand 603 people. The recovery rate so far is 79.41 percent.

After the first corona patient was identified in Bangladesh on March 6, the first person died on March 16. According to the latest data released by Johns Hopkins University (JHU), the number of patients infected with the coronavirus worldwide is about 45 million. Besides, the death toll has crossed 11 lakh 70 thousand.

According to the JHU, as of Friday morning, the number of patients infected with the deadly virus worldwide stood at 4,49,42,003. Besides, 11 lakh 80 thousand 316 people died in Kovid-19. The most affected by the coronavirus are the United States, South Asian countries India and Latin American Brazil.

The United States has the highest number of victims and deaths in the world. Corona is still spreading there at a massive rate. In addition to the rapid onset of death does not stop. The country will hold its 47th presidential election in just three days. Incumbent President Donald Trump and Joe Biden are campaigning for the election. US President and First Lady Melania Trump was also affected by the corona.

As of Friday morning, the number of people affected by corona in the country stood at 69,44,632 and 2,27,748 people had died.

Brazil and India have the second highest death toll after the United States. India, the world's second most populous country, has a total of more than 60 lakh 40 thousand people affected and 1 lakh 20 thousand 528 people have died. Brazil is the second most affected country in terms of death toll. The total number of identified patients in the country is 54 lakh 94 thousand 36 people and 1 lakh 57 thousand 979 people have died.

Besides, the number of coronary heart disease patients in Russia has increased to 15 lakh 60 thousand 447 people. 26 thousand 111 people died. 13 lakh 27 thousand 752 people were affected in France. 36 thousand 57 people died.

The United States, Brazil and India are followed by Mexico, the United Kingdom and Italy.
