18 more deaths in the last 24 hours, identified 1320

Staff reporter: In the last 24 hours, 18 more people have died due to corona virus. A total of five thousand 923 people have died. One thousand 320 people have been newly identified. In all, the number of victims stands at four lakh seven thousand 84 people.

On Saturday (October 31) in the afternoon, this information was given in a press release signed by Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

It said 1,442 people, including asymptomatic patients, have recovered in the last 24 hours at various hospitals and homes across the country, including Dhaka City. So far, a total of three lakh 24 thousand 145 people have been recovered. Samples have been collected and tested in 113 labs across the country under public and private management. 11 thousand 209 samples have been collected in the last 24 hours. A total of 11,532 samples including the previous samples have been tested. So far 23 lakh 37 thousand 262 samples have been tested.

It was further informed that the rate of sample test in the last 24 hours is 11.45 percent. So far, the detection rate is 16.45 percent considering the sample test, the recovery rate is 69.51 percent considering the identified test and the mortality rate is 1.45 percent considering the identified test.

Nasima Sultana added that out of 18 people killed in 24 hours, 12 were men and 6 were women. Among them there are 13 in Dhaka division, two each in Chittagong and Khulna divisions. One person in Sylhet division. Among them, 18 died at the hospital.

The age analysis of the dead showed that there were 11 people above 60 years of age, three people between 51 and 60 years of age and four people between 41 and 50 years of age.

He said 17 people have come to isolation in the last 24 hours and 131 people have been exempted from isolation. So far 6,123 people have come in isolation. 63,993 people have taken clearance from isolation. Currently, there are 12,130 people in isolation.
