Jamaat-Shibir went on rampage

Sun News Desk : Jamaat activists attacked on policemen and vandalised vehicles after entring gayebana janaza of Delwar Hossain Sayeedi in Dhaka on Monday night.

Khandoker Golam Farruq, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner, said these at a press briefing over Sayeedi' janaza issue on Tuesday.

He said "On Tuesday after Fazr prayer, the Jammat-Shibir men took position in front of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital and, coming on Facebook live, they asked their party men to gather at that point. Then the law enforcement agencies bound to disperse them to take the situation under control."

He also said DMP will not permit for Sayeedi's gayebana janaza on Wednesday considering the situation after the attack and vandalise incidents.
