Sun News Desk : Ten dengue patients died and 1757 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Friday.
With the new deaths, the death toll rose to 293, of which 234 were in Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Additionally, another 1,757 cases were recorded till this morning, taking the total number of dengue cases to 61,473.
A total of 52,154 dengue patients have been released so far.

Last year, the death toll from dengue was 281.
