Sun News Desk : The authorities of the metro rail service have taken decision to extend six more hours considering the commuter's facilitation.

The train will now run from 8am-8pm from May 31 six days a week as per the new schedule. The metro rail service will remain closed on Friday instead of Tuesday.
MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd, said during a briefing today.

He said the trains will run every 10 minutes from 8am-11pm (peak hours), every 15 minutes from 11:01am-3pm (off-peak), every 10 minutes from 3:01pm-6pm (peak), and every 15 minutes from 6:01pm-8pm (off-peak).
