However, this time an exceptional initiative of a local voluntary organization, after 36 years of service in the same mosque, a muezzin received a royal farewell reception in Begamganj of Noakhali.

On Friday (February 2) after the Friday prayers, he was given this reception at the Guraghazi Bepari Bari Mosque of Narottampur village in Begumganj, Noakhali.
It is known that Guraghazi Jame Masjid Muezzin Mohammad Helal Uddin Huzur. He served as muezzin in the same mosque for 36 consecutive years, more than three eras. He retired after a long career due to age and declining performance. To commemorate his long service life, a farewell reception was given by the Board of Directors of the Mosque Committee and the local voluntary organization Humanity Express.

On this occasion, in the presence of thousands of worshipers in the area, gifts were given to the muezzin including one hundred and fifty thousand taka in cash for the family members. At this time, thousands of worshipers in a few pickup vans and a flower-decorated microbus took Muezzin Mohammad Helal Huzur around the whole village with floral greetings and delivered him to his home. Meanwhile, many high-ranking people of the area welcomed such a wish initiative after a long service life in the mosque.
Muazzin Mohammad Helal Huzoor became emotional after receiving such a rare honor as a common muezzin.

Muhammad Hanif Bhuiyan, mosque adviser and Noakhali office head of Daily Nayadigant, journalist Tajul Islam Manik, local UP member Zillur Rahman, Samaj Sevak Sharif Ullah, Monir Hossain of Humanity Express, Mansad Alam and others spoke at the reception.
At this time, the speakers said that many government and private institutions have various facilities including one-time financial benefits and pension after the end of working life. But even if this facility is not available for the khatibs and muezzins of the House of Allah Mosque, this initiative of honoring the royal farewell reception of the muezzin Mohammad Helal Huzoor of Guraghazi Jame Masjid will open new horizons for the honor of the khatibs and muezzins of other mosques in the future.
