Timeline Spanning 50 Years Used Relatively

District Representative: Law Minister Anisul Haque said that the 50-year period in the investigation of the journalist couple's murder case is relative. It is not a matter of debate. Even if you say good things, you (journalists) take it differently, get angry.

He said this to reporters at Akhaura in Brahmanbaria on Friday (February 2) morning.

The law minister said that in 42 years of murder, the accused has been caught, and in 24 years, the mystery has been solved. I explained that it will take time to identify the real culprits.

He said, in many cases it takes time to identify the real culprits. The real culprits will be caught as long as it takes. The legal framework states that those who are not criminals cannot be caught. Those who are really guilty should be caught.

Incidentally, on Thursday (February 1) regarding the Sagar-Runi murder case in Akhaura, the minister said that the law and order forces should be given time to complete the investigation of the Sagar-Runi murder case.

There is nothing to do unless the police completes the investigation and submits a report. If it takes 50 years to investigate, wait until then.
