Thai PM greets Sheikh Hasina

Staff Reporter: Prime Minister of Thailand Srettha Thavisin congratulated Sheikh Hasina for being re-elected as Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

In a congratulatory message, the Thai Prime Minister said, 'I am proud to convey my hearty congratulations on behalf of the Thai Government and the people of Thailand for your wonderful achievements and being elected for a fifth term as Prime Minister.'

He added, "Our bilateral relations in regional and multilateral areas have expanded and deepened, especially in trade and investment, people-to-people relations and sustainable development."

Srettha Thavisin said, 'I am confident that in the years to come our bilateral relations will be further strengthened under your leadership for the mutual benefit of our two countries and peoples.'

He added, 'I look forward to working closely with you to further our cooperation.'
