He said these things in a press conference at Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit on Saturday (February 10) morning.
The health minister said that the doctors of Bangladesh are providing medical services in sync with the world.

He said nose reconstruction surgery has been done in Bangladesh before, but the successful surgery of Karma Dema, a 23-year-old college student from Bhutan, the first foreign patient, is a major achievement of the Burn Institute.
Dr. Samant Lal Sen also said that the government is working with the aim of restoring the confidence of the common people in the treatment of the country. Apart from this, there are thoughts of making 10-15 units of burn units from the friendly relations between Bhutan and Bangladesh. Besides, at least in the SAARC countries, various camps of Bangladeshi doctors are being thought of.

Various officials of the institute including Rinchen Kuencil, Ambassador of Bhutan to Bangladesh were present on the occasion.
