He was speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting with senior officers and trainers at the Bangladesh Police Academy (Sarada) Chimney Auditorium in Rajshahi on Monday (December 28) afternoon.

The IGP said, “We do not want to see corrupt people abusing the people. We want the police to clean up the mess. We want good cops. We want to build Bangladesh Police as a people's police. ”

"We have started a change in the police," he said. We need to change. It is the need of the age, the need of the time. Police training has been changed, training modules have been redesigned. We want to make police training practical. ”

Calling on the trainers to perform their duties with sincerity and seriousness, the Chief of Police said, "Every trainee should be trained with such care that they can contribute to the service of the country and the welfare of the people as a professional police member. From Saradha, the seeds of morality and ethics must be sown in the hearts of every policeman in a way that they can hold on for a lifetime. ”

Earlier in the morning, the IGP inspected the preparations for the concluding parade of the 37th Assistant Superintendent of Police to be held on January 3 at the parade ground of the academy. This information was confirmed from the police headquarters by AIG (Media and Public Relations) Md. Sohail Rana of Bangladesh Police.
