Staff Correspondent: remote parts of the district, as well as fire stations will be built and more modern equipment are being collected for the fire service said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The Prime Minister was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of 20 fire stations, 6 regional passport offices, women's prisons, LPG stations and Bangladesh's flag-carrying aircraft Dhrubatara on Sunday (December 27).

Sheikh Hasina said the government wants to make people's lives safer by increasing the manpower in the fire service. The service will be further expanded through the newly constructed digital passport offices.
