The second wave of corona has started in India

International Desk: The second wave of corona virus has started in India . The number of daily infections in different states of the country has risen to about half a million.

On Monday (March 22), the Union Ministry of Health said that 48,951 people had been newly infected in India in the last 24 hours. In November last year, this number of people were infected daily in India.

The total number of corona infections in India is 1 crore 16 lakh 46 thousand 81 people. So far 1 lakh 59 thousand 967 people have died. Of these, 212 people have died in the last 24 hours, which is much more than in the last few days.

According to Anandabazar, 228 people died in one day in Corona, India on January 9 this year. Since then, the daily death toll has dropped to less than a hundred. In the last few days it has started to increase again.

Maharashtra has the worst situation among the states. The situation in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Haryana is deteriorating day by day. Randeep Guleria, an official of the All India Institute of Science (AIIMS), has already warned the people of the country about the Corona situation.

He thinks that the second wave of corona has started due to the spread of new variant of corona and non-compliance of corona rules.
