Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to the Maldives on a three-day official visit. Foreign Ministry sources said on Saturday (December 18). Her visit is scheduled for December 22-24.

President of Maldives Mohammad Salih in Dhaka to attend the birth centenary of Bangabandhu and the golden jubilee of independence. He came and invited the Prime Minister to visit the Maldives. Following the Prime Minister's visit, Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen visited the Maldives last October.

Foreign Minister will hold a press conference on Sunday (December 19) to announce the details of the Prime Minister's visit Dr. AK Abdul Momen. The press conference was held at the Foreign Service Academy at 5 pm.

According to sources, the Prime Minister's visit will discuss various bilateral issues between the two countries. In addition, several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) may be signed.
