Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has administered the oath to the people of the country on the occasion of the golden jubilee of victory and the year of Mujib.
Sh took the oath of office on Thursday (December 16) at 4:30 pm from the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad.
At this time, everyone from all the districts and divisional cities of the country took the oath at the same time.
The oath contains:
'Bangladesh has achieved independence through a bloody liberation struggle against the exploitation and deprivation of the Pakistani rulers under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Bengali nation has established its distinct ethnicity in the heart of the world.
Today, on Victory Day, I swear that I will not let the blood of martyrs go in vain - I will love the country, I will use all my strength for the overall welfare of the people of the country. I will build a golden Bengal of developed, prosperous and non-communal consciousness in the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib.

At this time, the President said in a special ceremony at the South Plaza of the National Assembly. Abdul Hamid and President of India Ramnath Kobind were present.
It may be mentioned that on the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence and the year of Mujib, a special program was organized on Thursday and Friday (December 16 and 17) at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad under the title 'Mahanayaka Mahanayaka'. On the first day of the event, on 16 December, the Prime Minister administered the oath of office to all.
Before taking the oath, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed the gathering and wished victory to the people.
