Sun News Desk: This year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations will start on April 30.

Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Convener of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, said a proposal was sent to the Ministry of Education in this regard and it gave approval to start SSC and its equivalent examinations on April 30.

Earlier, Education Minister Dipu Moni said the SSC and its equivalent examinations will be held in April last, while the HSC examinations in June.

SSC exams for 2022 began on September 15 last year considering the flood situation in the country.
