Sun News Desk : The price of soybean oil has been hiked by Tk 12 per litre.

As per the revised price, consumers will now have to pay Tk 199 for a one litre bottle of soyabean oil. The new price will be effective from today (May 4).

The Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association said on Thursday.

Meanwhile, loose soybean oil price has been fixed at Tk 176 instead of Tk 167 and palm oil (super) at Tk 135.

The price of five-litre bottled soybean oil has been fixed at Tk 960 instead of Tk 906.
