Sun News Desk : Law Minister Anisul Huq said the Digital Security Act (DSA) will not be repealed, but to be amended by September.

The Law Minister said these at a programme held by Transparency International Bangladesh on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day on Wednesday.
Anisul Huq said "eliminating problems of DSA, it will be made for universal law. Sheikh Hasina will never take away the freedom of the press. The DSA was not created to undermine the freedom of the press but to ensure cyber security."

He said a committee is working on amending the law.
He also said "we have nearly completed reviewing the technical recommendations on the law sent by the UN human rights agency."
