Sun News Desk : At least 11 dengue patients died and 1,295 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Wednesday.
Currently, 7,599 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

Of them, 2,162 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 5,437 are in other divisions.
As many as 2,60,829 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 2,51,935 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
