Staff Correspondent: The sculpture was vandalized to kill Bangabandhu's ideology, said the Minister of Agriculture. Md. Abdur Razzak said, “Those who killed Bangabandhu with a specific plan are still active. They still want to kill Bangabandhu's ideology, consciousness and philosophy. That is why they have vandalized the sculpture of Bangabandhu.”

He was speaking at a function after inaugurating a mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) premises at Farmgate in the capital on Wednesday (December 23rd).

Through this not only the present generation, but also the future generation will be inspired by the ideals of Bangabandhu and the spirit of the war of liberation.

At the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture (Extension), Hasanuzzaman Kallol, BARC's executive chairman, Sheikh Mohammad Bakhtiyar, the head of the organization and officials and employees of different levels were present.
