'Satisfaction of the people is the goal of Police' - IGP

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Police Chief (IGP) Benazir Ahmed said to the police members, “We have to use our head intelligence without using force in all cases. The job of the police is to work to the satisfaction of all. Remember, we want to do this job with pride, we want to say in front of people, I am the police. People will respect us for our work. ”

He made the remarks at an exchange of views at the Rajarbagh Police Lines Auditorium on Sunday (November 15th). The meeting was held to discuss the welfare of DMP constables, Naik and ASI and the code of conduct with the public.

Referring to 'DMP Bangladesh Police Mirror', Benazir Ahmed said, "You can be proud to work here. You can earn the respect of the people by enforcing the law to the maximum. People's expectations of the police have increased a lot, people can never be treated badly. The respect of the whole force depends on your use. ”

Addressing the constables, he said, “Even though you are a junior member of the force, you are the most important. In the last 10 years, various problems of the police force have been solved thanks to the Prime Minister. The better you do, the better. ”

Instructing the child to live honestly, the IGP said, “Encourage the child to grow up, make him a human being. Those who have illicit money, their children are not good people. If you make a habit of spending consistent with your income, you can live honestly. ”

"Strict action is being taken if there is any connection with drugs," the IGP said. Those involved in drugs have been sent to jail without release. ”

DMP Commissioner Moha in his speech. Shafiqul Islam said, “We will work hard so that the trust and confidence of the people in us is not lost. We will never allow the police force to lose its dignity as a result of someone's misdeeds. ”
