The total number of voters in this constituency is 5 lakh 6 thousand 17 people. Six candidates are contesting in it. They are- Mohammad Habib Hasan of Awami League, SM Jahangir Hossain of BNP, Nasir Uddin Sarkar of Jatiya Party, Kazi Mohammad of People's Front. Shahidullah, Omar Farooq of the Bangladesh Congress and the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Mobibullah Bahar.
Awami League candidate Tanvir Shakil Joy and BNP candidate Selim Reza are contesting in Sirajganj-1 constituency. Sirajganj-1 constituency consists of five unions of Kazipur and Sirajganj Sadar upazilas. The total number of voters here is 3 lakh 45 thousand 603 people. There are 16 polling stations.
