Prepare for next polls

Sun News Desk : Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that BNP should take preparation for the next election not thinking about the movement.

He remarked this at the party's joint meeting held at the Awami League's central office on Friday.

The minister said that Mirza Fakhrul has been daydreaming again after coming out from jail. Prepare for the next election without thinking about the next movement.

He said if the people's government is in power, the material conditions of the movement cannot be found. If people's government is in power, issue based movement cannot be found in the country. BNP should feel it.

In his introductory speech at the joint meeting, Quader said about the presence of Bangladesh in the security conference in Munich, Germany, that Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has brought great honor to the country by participating in this conference. Today the democratic world has unhesitatingly accepted the importance of Bangladesh.

Quader also said that the geopolitical position of Bangladesh is a fertile field for many of our enmity. Many hawks have a covetous eye on the Bay of Bengal, St. Martin. But Sheikh Hasina's government has steered balanced diplomacy towards success.
