Sun News Desk : A least 330 members of Myanmar security forces, who had fled to Bangladesh, will be sent back on Thursday.

Md Shariful Islam, Public Relations Officer at Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) headquarters, confirmed the matter on Wednesday.
Shariful Islam said they will be handed over to the Myanmar authorities at the Bangladesh Navy jetty in Cox’s Bazar’s Inani at 8am on Thursday under the supervision of the BGB.

Earlier on Tuesday, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said Myanmar has agreed to take back their security force members who took refuge in Bangladesh.
The home minister said “They [Myanmar] have sent a message to us saying that they will take them back by ship very soon. Hopefully, they will take their members back within 1-2 days. They have no conflict with us, no war.”

At least 330 members of Myanmar army, border guards, police, immigration and other officials took refuge recently in Bangladesh.
