Sun News Desk: One people has died and 685 others were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours across the country.

The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a press release on Thursday.
According to the report, a total of 685 people admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours. Among them, 353 are residents of Dhaka and 332 are outside of Dhaka. The total number of dengue patients in various public and private hospitals in the country has reached 2,750 with 685 new patients.

A total of 217 people have died of dengue since January 1. The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year.
Noted that during the corona epidemic in 2020, dengue infection was not seen much, but in 2021, 28 thousand 429 people were infected with dengue fever across the country. In the same year, 105 people died by dengue accorss the country.
